Practice Schedule:
Mon - Fri 2:45 - 4:45 pm
Practices before the school semester starts are often off-campus. Schedule will be distributed and posted. Practices during the school semester will occasionally be scheduled off-campus and announced ahead of time.
Meet in the practice field by the Palmer pool parking lot for on-campus practices before the semester starts.
Meet in the PHS lower commons for on-campus practices once the school semester begins.
Since 2020, the PHS XC Running Team has boasted 4 Region Champions, 6 All-State Finishers, and 1 State Champion!
In 2023, Palmer HS hosted over 1,000 high school athletes at the George Plumley XC Invitational, making it the biggest high school cross country competition in Alaska history. In 2025, Palmer HS is also hosting the ASAA Alaska State Championship, which means we expect another huge turnout for our home Invitational. We need volunteers for both meets! September 6th (the George Plumley is usually the first Saturday in Sept, and the state meet is usually the first Saturday in October).
